Not all puppies get to go home a eight weeks, due to no fault of their own. Those pups stay here and continue to be loved and worked with until they have found their forever home! I am more of a "off leash" person here on the place, literally from the time they are old enough to walk. We start off as the whole litter going, to more one on one the older they get to ensure they have an excellent call back. I also ensure my GRANDS spend quality time with them, walking on a leash, giving basic commands, etc, so they are very used to kids and behave with them. They are in a farm environment, farm animals, sights and sounds. It is truly sad for me as a breeder that anyone is left behind, especially when it is because of color. The Aussies listed below are phenomenal examples of the breed and just need their "person" or "family"!
We also place adults into new homes or programs that meet our requirements. We don't "get rid of" our aussies, we PLACE them, where they can flourish with a new family or they can benefit a responsible breeder who wants to perserve the breed and do it the correct way. Some people do not agree with placing adults, they think it is horrible for the dog, when all actuality, if we thought in any way it would be harmful, "bad", or they wouldn't be happy, our aussies would be spay or neutered and retire here with us, BUT majority of our aussies would be very happy to be with somone who devotes their home and time, 24/7, to just them. We have always had very successful placements!!! Within a week to two, you would think they had been with you since birth.
If any of the Aussies listed below interest you, and you are SERIOUS about getting one...meaning... you have cleared it with your family, husband, significant other, landlord, or whomever has a say in the household regarding a dog... you can text me at 918.398.3937 or email me at four_feathers@yahoo.com so we can discuss if they would be a fit!
